A letter to Jim Mann,PHD,Curator of the Las Vegas art Museum (Please allow me to pray and include scripture as promised) Dear Jim: Thank you for the invitation to show my art work in June and July in the Las Vegas Art Museum including the 300 feet Revelation painting after it comes down at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore. I will also include one general piece on the subject of,'Garden of Eden'. Thank you also for your request for paintings of the Holocaust to include in your show April 22. (My heart is heavy and I need prayer. May I Dear Lord obey) After considerable study on the subject of the Holocaust,It came to me clear this morning as I stepped into the hot tub here at the beach how to paint it. I figured out a display small series of 9 scenes taking a space 8 feet tall and 9 feet wide. Actually this all came to me spontaneously as I relaxed in the bubbling of waters in the jucuzzi. I feel unworthy to paint on this subject as I do on prophecy but the more I study,the more I must paint on this subject as to the reasons why this awful thing happened,such an inhuman act against people in a civilized world as we live. I respectfully request you save me the space as described and I for sure will ship this set I am doing in time for your show opening. (Thy call for my service. May these paintings of art bless) The series consist of 3 paintings 24x48 painted horizonally be hung on 2 chains from 8 foot tall to the floor. This display is to be surrounded by 6 smaller paintings 24x24 inches,3 on each side numbered and prehung also on 2 chains each the same height. I think the chains are appropriate considering the subject here. The acrylic on canvas work will all be hung 6 inches apart and will tell the story of the awfulness of the holocaust if such a story could ever be told in pictures,I am sure it cannot be told. (people and the world. May I see thy will for my time.Isaiah2-) I wish to donate this Holocaust series of 9 paintings to the Las Vegas Art Museum if you will accept them and under the condition that if they are ever sold,that they must remain together as a group series and be shown that way. I never want to profit from the suffering of any human beings in such a display,be it one person or millions as the holocaust was. How could anyman dream up such horrors as Hitler did to implement this awful atrocity. (17"And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down..made low..) I have been studying this subject in part for some time dealing with the fulfillment of Bible prophecy in my paintings of art. All things seem to have a purpose and eventually we see that purpose. The Jews were not the motivation to inspire Hitler to make war,the Jew served as a subject for Hilter to falsely blame for everything wrong and a source of great wealth by which he so desperately needed to fight the war to take over the world. The Jews got in Hitlers way of war and like other innocent people,got killed. I am so sorry about this. However,the world is full of wrong doers still today,we do not learm verywell. Hitler may have got by with it if he had not been so greedy and stopped with a hand full of nations even France and not attacked England. As a child studying the war,I thought it was awful but later when the story of the Holocaust began to come out,it sure was triple bad.
